Welcome to PC Builder Challenge! Your goal is to build a computer that meets each customer's budget and performance requirements while staying cool and powered. Here's how to succeed:
🚦 Getting Started
Start with the Case: This unlocks fan slots. Expensive builds may need more cooling. Only certain motherboards may fit the case you chose.
Select a Motherboard: Choose one that fits into your case. Motherboards have CPU’s socket and RAM type (DDR4/DDR5) compatability.
Add Other Components: Choose CPU, GPU, RAM, SSD, Cooler, Fans, and PSU.
Meet the customers requirements: Make sure to check your build stats to ensure you are meeting the needs of the customer.
📊 Build Stats to Monitor
Gaming Score – Must meet the customer's minimum gaming need.
Productivity Score – Must meet the customer's productivity target.
Temperature – Keep average system temp at or below 75°C.
Power Supply – Your PSU must provide more power than your components consume.
Budget – Stay within the customer's total budget.
❄️ Cooling Tips
Install fans and CPU coolers to reduce heat.
Air coolers use one fan directly on the CPU.
AIO (All-In-One) liquid coolers use multiple radiator fans—make sure your case has enough fan slots.

Each wrong attempt reduces your bonus by $100
4 wrong attempts = $0 bonus

Each build is timed. If time runs out, the customer leaves and the game ends.
